The Estonian pianist Marite Männi is active internationally as a soloist and song accompanist. Her recent performances include recitals at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, the Marmorsaal Stuttgart, and the Maison de l'Étoile in Mauritius. She will next appear at the Liedfestival Sindelfingen 2026.
Marite has been invited to several programs for young pianists with a focus on art song and cultural and musical initiatives. She participated in the TONALi Stage Academy, is a 2025 fellow of the Exzellenzlabor Lied in Villecroze, and was selected for the Carnegie Hall SongStudio ’26, where she was mentored by Lisette Oropesa and Lawrence Brownlee. Together with baritone Jasper Lampe, she won second prize at the International Song Duo Competition in Groningen.
Marite is involved in collaborative projects, including work with “funky brain,” and contributed to the organization of the Tallinn Chamber Music Festival in the 2021 and 2022 seasons. She is a Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now artist and teaches at the Clara Schumann Music School in Baden-Baden.
Born in Tallinn, Marite studied at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and continued her education at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts and the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart, specializing in Song-Duo performance under Professor Götz Payer. Her studies have been supported by the Deutschlandstipendium, and has been scholarship holder of the prestigious arteMusica Foundation for Music and Culture.

Die estnische Pianistin Marite Männi ist international als Solistin und Liedbegleiterin tätig. Zu ihren jüngsten Auftritten zählen Rezitale in der Zankel Hall der Carnegie Hall, im Marmorsaal Stuttgart und in der Maison de l'étoile auf Mauritius. Demnächst ist sie beim Liedfestival Sindelfingen 2026 zu hören.
Marite wurde zu mehreren Programmen für junge Pianist:innen mit Schwerpunkt Kunstlied oder Kultur-und Musik Initiative eingeladen. Sie war Teilnehmerin der TONALi Stage Academy, ist 2025 Stipendiatin des Exzellenzlabors Lied in Villecroze und wurde ins Carnegie Hall SongStudio '26 eingeladen, wo sie von Lisette Oropesa und Lawrence Brownlee betreut wurde. Zusammen mit dem Bariton Jasper Lampe gewann sie den zweiten Preis beim Internationalen Lied-Duo-Wettbewerb in Groningen.
Marite engagiert sich in Kooperationsprojekten, unter anderem mit „funky brain", und war in den Spielzeiten 2022 und 2023 an der Organisation des Tallinn Chamber Music Festivals beteiligt. Sie ist Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now-Künstlerin und unterrichtet an der Clara-Schumann-Musikschule in Baden-Baden.
Geboren in Tallinn, studierte Marite an der Estnischen Akademie für Musik und Theater und setzte ihre Ausbildung an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt sowie an der Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart fort, mit Schwerpunkt Lied-Duo bei Prof. Götz Payer.
