Marite Männi was born in Tallinn, Estonia. After completing her Bachelor's degree in piano at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, she continued her studies at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts with Prof. Alexej Gorlatch, Christopher Park, and Dmitry Ablogin. She is currently studying piano in Art Song with Prof. Götz Payer in Stuttgart.

Marite was a recipient of the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship and is currently supported by arteMusica Foundation. Since 2021, she and her duo partner Lara Rieken have been supported by "Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now." Her studies were further enriched by masterclasses with Leif Ove Andsnes, Christian Hadland, Sophia Rahman, Alexander Kobrin, Hedayet Djeddikar, and Thilo Dahlmann.

As a soloist, she has won awards at international competitions, and in 2022, she was accepted into the innovative cultural and educational initiative TONALi Stage Academy in Hamburg. Through various projects, she has performed with the Vaasa City Orchestra in Finland and the EMTA Symphony Orchestra in Estonia. Her repertoire spans from classical to contemporary music, with a special emphasis on collaboration with singers in her concert activities.
